What we store

• Your listing. The URL or handle you submitted, the title, description and image scraped from that page, the country you picked, and the amounts paid. All of this is public — it is the leaderboard.
• Click counts. A single number per listing. We do not store who clicked, when, or from where.
• Payment records. The Polar order and checkout identifiers, so a payment can be matched to a listing and a duplicate webhook cannot double-charge you.

What we do not store

No accounts, no passwords, no email list, no advertising or analytics cookies, and no cross-site tracking. The only thing kept in your browser is your light or dark theme preference.

We never see your card. Payment details are entered on Polar's checkout and stay with Polar and their payment processor.

Your IP address

Your IP is passed to Polar when a checkout opens, because they need it to work out the correct sales tax. It is also used in memory for rate limiting. We do not write it to the database.

The country shown next to your listing is the one you chose. Edge geolocation is only used to preselect the dropdown, and you can change it before paying.

Outbound clicks

Clicking a listing appends utm_source=natwars so the owner can see the traffic came from here. That parameter is visible in the URL and carries nothing about you.

Removal

Ask and we will remove your listing from the live board. Finished seasons in the Hall of Fame are a historical record and are not rewritten. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
